Wheatland is quite the event in Michigan. Traditional arts has never had a better supporter. With acts from local heros like Stepin in it to titans like Bella Fleck it is quite the event.

I find my favorite way to enjoy the event is by walking the perimeter with different folks and enjoying a small amount of one on one time with whoever that may be…

After thinking about WHY I like that walk, I think it comes back to boundaries. This world is an amazing place of options and a seemingly endless possibilities, so it is important to place self imposed boundaries. This helps me focus on the beauty of this place and not dwell on the unknown… By walking the edge of that boundary, I guess I am just letting myself know I am still free!
So from a walker of life and of music events, I’m happy to report that Wheatland has once again been an amazing and centering event…
