Today I took some time off from house obsession on Sunday and spent the brisk yet sunny day skiing the Vasa.

The Vasa Ski Trail is a huge network of the groomed joy that cater to conventional Nordic style and skate cross country skiing. From the Bunker Hill trail head, there’s a quick dog friendly 3k, a 5k (which I took), a 10k, and a 27k loop all weaving and intersecting though the beautiful Pere Marquette State Forest. It’s amazing, wonderfully marked, heavily traveled, yet very peaceful.

What a great way to spend the afternoon!
