I spent last night troubleshooting one of the coolest freaking technogeek toys ever invented… A 45 (single records) turntable jukebox!

The thing was amazing! With enough gears, plungers, relays, motors, micro-switches, solenoids, and tubes to dazzle even the most finicky of tech fanatics, 5 hours of tech support flew by in a blur. We took that that old beauty from the bleachers to the middle of the sock-hop! Now, with the faint memory of the WD40 in my nose, 60 year old grease on my fingers, and the sound of the 1955 top 40 dancing around in my head, I lay my head back and am happy to be a geek.

… If only side A would stop jamming… just give me a few more hours!
