After a few months of looking, thinking, and trying to decide how to set up the hammock without two trees, I finally decided on a method…. One tree!

With the help of a freshly harvested piece of bamboo, a few two-half hitches, a couple of bowlines, a harness built with three alpine butterflies, and three 10 inch anchors (thanks the the sand bar that is Florida), we are in business!

Yep… It’s a good day to chill.
