It&#8217;s a small town feeling, where it seems everyone knows everyone, but there are big city options when it comes to business, culture, sustinace, and libation.<br \/>\nAs I was walking toward my first meal with Brian and Sarna at the locally famed <a href=\"http:\/\/www.poppycockstc.com\">Poppycocks<\/a>,\u00a0 I came across this spot&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/trail.walkofirresponsibility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/wpid-IMAG0112.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" title=\"IMAG0112.jpg\" alt=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/trail.walkofirresponsibility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/wpid-IMAG0112.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Which seemed to be a very positive sign! I then found awesome <a href=\"http:\/\/ http:\/\/www.northernnaturalwinery.com\">cider<\/a> everywhere I <a href=\"http:\/\/www.leftfootcharley.com\">looked<\/a>!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/trail.walkofirresponsibility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/wpid-IMAG0114.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" title=\"IMAG0114.jpg\" alt=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/trail.walkofirresponsibility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/wpid-IMAG0114.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>With a decent beer bar with tons of Michigan brews and beyond, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.7monkstap.com\">7 Monks<\/a>, is just what the doctor ordered.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/trail.walkofirresponsibility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/wpid-IMAG0115.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" title=\"IMAG0115.jpg\" alt=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/trail.walkofirresponsibility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/wpid-IMAG0115.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I even found a pretty rad veggie spot which was transplanted from the southeast, called <a href=\"http:\/\/ http:\/\/omcafe.squarespace.com\">Om Cafe<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/trail.walkofirresponsibility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/wpid-IMAG0116.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" title=\"IMAG0116.jpg\" alt=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/trail.walkofirresponsibility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/wpid-IMAG0116.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve been drinking locally roasted <a href=\"http:\/\/www.greatnoroco.com\">coffee<\/a>, found lots of local beer, a decent <a href=\"http:\/\/www.grandtraversedistillery.com\">distillery<\/a>, a pretty great music scene, and a lot of pleasant people.<br \/>\nThis week, I will even be sliding into an available room downtown.<br \/>\nI&#8217;m looking forward to the next few months in this magical place.<br \/>\nSo many thanks to Brian and Sarna for hosting me during my transition!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>After one week in Traverse City, I have decided, it is DEFINITELY the place for me to hang my hat for a while.
